Universal Energy Solutions in Houston is seeking a motivated Direct Sales Representative to review energy plans with local business owners, present competitive options, and tailor solutions to fit their needs. No prior sales experience required, with paid training and mentorship.

You will start with guidance from seasoned Account Managers, build new business opportunities, and advance toward Account Manager and leadership roles as the company grows into new markets.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable personal vehicle.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable meeting with business owners face-to-face.

Responsibilities

• Meet face-to-face with business owners and decision-makers
• Review current electricity and natural gas supply plans
• Help businesses identify opportunities to reduce energy costs
• Recommend competitive energy supplier options based on customer needs
• Build relationships with prospective commercial customers
• Learn our proven customer consultation process with mentors
• Travel throughout an assigned territory (typically within a 30-mile radius of the office)
