Qualifications

Education/Experience: Associate's degree and 2 years of experience OR equivalent combination of 4 years of education and experience after completion of high school.
License/Certification: Valid driver’s license or access to transportation
Must be able to travel up to 50 miles for assignment or training

Preferred qualifications include strong verbal and written communication, ability to work with diverse clients, and computer proficiency (Word, Internet, email).

Responsibilities

Assesses needs and certifies eligibility for state and federal public assistance programs such as Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, Child Care, and Long Term Care.
Conducts interviews with applicants and current clients to determine eligibility and ensure timely decisions.
Uses NH HEIGHTS and other state systems to verify information and process cases.
Mentors staff and participates in projects and training as needed.
Provides customer service and information to diverse populations and partners.
