Job summary

Permobil is hiring for a second-shift manufacturing role in Belleville, IL. The position runs Monday–Friday from 2:00pm to 10:15pm, with overtime available. The role involves dipping neoprene parts, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a limited number of words and numbers.

• Manual dexterity and ability to handle small components.

Responsibilities

• Operate neoprene-dipping processes and maintain equipment as directed.
• Switch mandrels, assist with leach line operations, drain/clean/fill tanks when needed.
• Inspect mandrels and racks for foreign material and cleanliness; remove debris and residue.
• Operate high-pressure washer to ensure cleanliness of mandrels; follow safety policies and wear PPE.
• Maintain quality by keeping error rates low and meeting performance metrics.
