Job summary

Permobil is hiring a Dipping Associate for 1st Shift in Belleville, IL. The role involves preparing neoprene-based products, dipping, inspecting, and maintaining equipment to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

You will work Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm with possible overtime and a starting pay of $18.00–$18.50 per hour. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision, HSA matching, 401(k) with employer match, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Ability to read a limited number of words and recognize similarities in sequences.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and maintain focus.

Responsibilities

• Dip neoprene-based products by following quality and cleanliness standards.
• Maintain dipping operations by switching mandrels and assisting with leach line operations.
• Inspect for foreign material and residue; operate high-pressure washer to clean mandrels.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and report safety hazards.
• Strive to meet or exceed performance metrics for quantity, accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness.
