Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the dining program at a long-term care facility. You will oversee food quality, inventory, safety, and customer service while ensuring adherence to menus and regulations.

Strong leadership and communication are essential as you manage a multi-person team. The role requires coordinating with client managers and administrators, maintaining records, and delivering high-quality dining services within a compliance-focused

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in food service management or hospitality, including related coursework.
• Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and supervisory duties preferred.
• CDM certification preferred or as required by state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; cover dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher roles when needed.
• Communicate directives from clients, building occupants, and administrators to staff.
• Ensure sanitary conditions, infection control, and safe handling of cleaning products.
• Maintain punctuality and timely completion of tasks; represent HCSG positively with stakeholders.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
