Brookdale Senior Living in Bradenton, FL seeks a Dining Services Manager to lead residents’ dining operations, plan menus, manage budgets, and supervise staff. You’ll ensure food safety, quality, and cost control while delivering compassionate service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2–4 years in commercial kitchen or equivalent.
• Current ServSafe Certification required; state cert if applicable; CSC preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, culinary nutrition, budgeting, and supervision.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Plans, manages, and coordinates dining services activities at one or more locations.
• Develops standards for organization and supervision of dining services.
• Maintains quality dining within budget.
• Plans menus and controls food costs; may prepare meals.
• Oversees food prep and cooking per procedures.
• Inspects work areas for compliance with safety and sanitation.
• Prepares cleaning schedule, production worksheet, and staff schedules.
• Maintains inventory of food and nonfood items.
• Trains new employees; delegates authority.
• Develops cost control system; submits department budget.
• Provides nutrition education and counseling for residents.
• Ensures safety procedures and infection control.
• Keeps continuous quality improvement program.
