Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the dining department at a long-term care facility. The role focuses on high-quality meals, inventory control, food safety, and excellent resident service, in alignment with site menus and regulations.

The position requires supervision of staff, adherence to infection control and safety policies, and effective communication with clients, staff, and administration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in quantity food production/service and supervision preferred.
• CDM certification preferred (or as required by state/county law).
• Must obtain FPM within 14 days of employment and FSM/LTC-FSM within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the on-site food service program to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
