Job summary

Asbury Methodist Village, part of Asbury Communities, seeks an Operations Manager to oversee daily dining services, lead chefs and hourly staff, and ensure high resident satisfaction with safe, compliant operations.

Responsibilities include managing front- and back-of-house operations, budgeting, labor planning, and ongoing staff development in a collaborative environment. Strong leadership and healthcare dining experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Certified Dietary Manager certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive food service or dining operations management.
• Experience overseeing multiple dining venues or complex food service operations preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of labor management, budgeting, financial reporting, and operational controls.

Responsibilities

• Daily Operations and Service Excellence: manage multiple food service operations to maintain high standards in food preparation, presentation, and service.
• Leadership and Associate Development: supervise dining room managers, conduct meetings, onboarding, and scheduling.
• Financial Management and Budget Accountability: manage expenses, monitor labor, and control costs.
• Food Safety, Sanitation, and Compliance: ensure regulatory compliance and conduct weekly inspections.
• Resident Engagement and Continuous Improvement: coordinate catering and engage residents in service improvements.
