Job summary

The Steelhead Engineering, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support digitization accuracy for federal records. You will review, validate, and correct scanned metadata, ensuring compliance with SOPs and standards while coordinating with digitization staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant experience in records or digitization.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain quality standards.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust adjudication and a PIV card.
• Driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control reviews of digitized documents to verify accuracy and completeness.
• Rescan documents when necessary to correct issues or improve clarity.
• Perform data validation, including updating and correcting metadata, coding, and database entries.
• Extract information from documents to support accurate metadata application.
• Follow SOPs for Quality Control Procedure and Quality Control Policy.
• Collaborate with digitization and document preparation staff to resolve data discrepancies.
