Job summary

Bodwé Professional Services, LLC, a federal contracting firm, seeks a Quality Control Technician to support digitization accuracy for the BTFA AIRR project. You will review, validate, and correct scanned metadata, ensure SOP compliance, and maintain document integrity across digitization workflows.

The role requires high attention to detail, ability to work with data in databases, follow SOPs, travel to project sites, and be eligible for a Public Trust and PIV; strong teamwork with digitization

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of relevant experience such as records management or digitization environments.
• Experience with data entry, file maintenance, or metadata correction.
• Comfort working in databases, updating metadata, and following standard formats.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain consistency in QA processes.
• Ability to collaborate with digitization teams to address data discrepancies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a moderate Public Trust adjudication and a PIV card.
• Must have or be able to obtain Real ID or Passport for air travel.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Quality control reviews of digitized documents to verify accuracy and completeness.
• Rescan documents when necessary to correct issues or improve clarity.
• Data validation, updating and correcting metadata, coding, and database entries.
• Extract information from documents to support accurate metadata application.
• Follow SOPs for Quality Control Procedure and Quality Control Policy.
• Collaborate with digitization and document preparation staff to resolve data discrepancies.
