ProSidian seeks a Digital Training Facility Manager (DTFM) for a training directorate of the USG that supports training and readiness of active and reserve military personnel through planning, facilitating, managing, recording, and assessing training. The role is a W‑2 employee position located at or near Milwaukee, WI.

This service supports DoD/Military Sector clients (for present and future requirements). The DTFM leads a Engagement Team Cadre to fulfill Firm Fixed Price (FFP) requirements and serve as a Digital Training Facility Manager. A Digital Training Facility (DTF) is a computer lab located on Army installations and Reserve sites worldwide. The DTFM provides management and oversight for the assigned DTF, allowing units to conduct training that improves individual and unit readiness while reducing TDY costs.

  • Various ways to support unit requirements through onsite instruction, online courses, and Video Tele‑Training (VTT) at selected sites.
  • A classroom environment with Internet access for resident instructors.
  • Access to annual mandatory training such as Information Assurance, Anti‑Terrorism, Suicide Prevention, Composite Risk Management, and Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) Training.
  • Access to Army Learning Management System (ALMS) and Army e‑Learning and Army Correspondence Course Program (ACCP) courses.
  • Real‑time, interactive instruction such as Battle Staff, Master Driving Training, Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) Course, TAMIS, MEDCOM, AMEDD, EMD Refresher, and more via VTT at selected sites.
  • Pre‑ and Post‑Mobilization Training (PPMT) such as SERE 100.1.
  • Access to subject matter experts worldwide.
  • Gaming for training, such as Virtual Battle Space 3 (available only at select DTFs).

The Digital Training Facility Manager regularly interfaces with stakeholder personnel, section, squad, or platoon leadership, and the Technology Resources Directorate(s) to ensure the DTF at the assigned installation offers a consistent, high‑level systems access and instruction tools/fixtures/assets, and collaborates with other DTFMs across campus locations.

Responsibilities
  • Support oversight of student scheduling, supervision, and training.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance and interact with Enterprise Management System (EMS) technicians.
  • Adhere to EMS direction to replace monitors, desktop computers, and servers, and verify operation of hardware and software.
  • Maintain facility security, operating equipment, and assist students in using DTF assets.
  • Monitor and report condition and inventory of IT hardware, desks, chairs, and other furniture.
  • Partner with other entities to create secure lab environments.
  • Perform hands‑on equipment operation and on‑site operations.
  • Provide metrics and reports to management, section leadership, and stakeholder staff.
  • Assist with server and application support and maintenance; maintain superior customer interactions on behalf of the DTF.
  • Report operational status of DTF(s) to the chain of command and Distributed Learning Point of Contact (DL‑POC).
  • Schedule use of DTFs and assist Product Manager (PdM) Army Training Information System (ATIS) and EMS staff.
  • Schedule training in DTFs with soldiers and the DL‑POC.
Experience
  • 5 years of management experience within IT support and/or management (required).
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate trainees, summarize, forecast, identify requirements, screen information, determine eligibility, and provide solutions to challenges.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, able to inquire, coordinate, and schedule training sessions and prepare clear, concise reports and presentations.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in computer science, information systems, information technology, computer engineering, or related).
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • All ProSidian staff must qualify for a Facility Access Authorization by the USG’s Security Office.
  • Other employment conditions apply; may require financial disclosure and qualification for background investigations up to Top Secret or “Q” clearance.
