ProSidian seeks a Digital Training Facility Manager [DTFM] - Fort Totten, NY (CONUS) - Digital Training Facility Management (DTFM) (DTFM032) to support an engagement for a training directorate of the USG that supports training and readiness of active and reserve military and personnel through planning, facilitating, managing, recording and assessing training on behalf of The Training Management Directorate (TMD). This DoD/Military Sector Role is a W-2 Employee Labor Category Position located at or near Fort Totten, NY - CONUS | AC/RC: RC | ACOM: USARC.

This service supports DoD/Military Sector Clients and ProSidian Team Members work as part of an Engagement Team Cadre to fulfill Firm Fixed Price requirements and to serve as a Digital Training Facility Manager. A Digital Training Facility (DTF) is a computer lab located on Army installations and Reserve sites worldwide – The DTFM provides management and oversight at/for the assigned DTF. Units use DTFs to conduct training that improves individual and unit readiness. Using high-speed internet access, computer based training and Video Tele-Training (VTT) equipment, soldiers and civilians can train when it fits their professional needs and personal schedules.

As a training asset, DTFs are ideal for section, squad, or platoon size elements. They can maximize training dollars and reduce TDY costs while providing:

• Various ways to support unit requirements through onsite instruction, online courses and VTT (at selected sites)
• A classroom environment with Internet access for Resident Instructors
• Access to annual mandatory training, such as Information Assurance, Anti-Terrorism, Suicide Prevention, Composite Risk Management
• Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) Training
• Access to Army Learning Management System (ALMS)
• Access to Army e-Learning and Army Correspondence Course Program (ACCP) courses
• Real-time, interactive instruction via VTT (e.g., Battle Staff, Master Driving Training, COR Course, TAMIS, AMEDD, EMD Refresher, and more at selected sites)
• Pre- and Post-Mobilization Training (PPMT), such as SERE 100.1
• Access to subject matter experts worldwide
• Gaming for training, such as Virtual Battle Space 3 (Available at select DTFs)

The Digital Training Facility Manager regularly interfaces with various stakeholder personnel, the Section, squad, or platoon leadership, and the Technology Resources Directorate to ensure the DTF at the assigned installation offers a consistent high level of system access and instructional tools/facilities/assets and collaborates with other campus DTFMs.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Schedule and manage the use of Digital Training Facilities (DTFs) and provide hands-on assistance to EMS staff for their assigned location
• Lead hands-on operation of required equipment and document on-site operations
• Oversee DTF hardware maintenance and verify operation of hardware and software in the DTFs
• Maintain facility security and assist students in using assets
• Monitor and report IT hardware, desks, chairs, and other furniture condition and inventory
• Partner with appropriate entities to create secure lab environments
• Provide hands-on operation in DTFs and deliver appropriate metrics and reports to Management and Stakeholders
• Provide server and application support and maintain superior customer interactions on behalf of the DTF
• Report operational status of the DTFs to the DL-POC and chain of command
• Coordinate scheduling of DTFs and provide hands-on assistance to ATIS and EMS staff
• Schedule training in DTFs in coordination with Soldiers and the Distributed Learning POC

Experience:

• 5 years of management experience within IT support and/or management (Required)
• Ability to analyze and evaluate trainees to forecast requirements, screen information, determine eligibility, and provide solutions
• Strong oral and written communication to coordinate, schedule training sessions, and prepare reports and presentations

Education Requirement:

• Bachelor degree (preferably computer science, information systems, information technology, computer engineering or related)
• U.S. Citizenship Required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; e-Verify participation
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe
• All staff must be eligible for a Facility Access Authorization
• Other Requirements: Financial Disclosure may be required; varying levels of background investigations up to Top Secret/“Q”
