Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an intern to support the transformation and acceleration office with a variety of tasks, projects, and analyses. You will help with operational performance improvements, project management, KPI analysis, and cross‑department communications.

The role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and ongoing process improvements in a dynamic health system environment in Grand Rapids, MI. Typical hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a 40‑hour workweek.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• May be a recent graduate from an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze current state processes.
• Identify opportunities for improvements in partnership with organization leaders and finance teams.
• Maintains accountability for completing support tasks as directed.
• Maintains clear and appropriate documentation of actions taken.
• May analyze department processes and other Corewell Health systems encountered and makes recommendations improvements, as appropriate. Participates in quality monitoring activities/process improvement activities.
• Communicates, collaborates, and acts as a team player with others in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services.
