Job summary

Corewell Health offers a full-time, 40-hour weekly hybrid summer internship from May 3 to August 13, 2027 (or May 10 to August 20, 2027). The program invites candidates locally in Grand Rapids, Southfield and St. Joseph to join a team focused on security operations.

Interns perform support tasks, document findings, and assist with incident investigations, threat research, and dashboards. Eligibility includes a high school diploma or equivalent and current enrollment in a related degree program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• Recent graduate from an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program acceptable.

• Researching emerging cyber threats, assisting with incident investigations.
• Documenting procedures and findings, analyzing trends and reports.
• Helping test security processes.
• Participating in team meetings and training sessions.

This is a full time (40 hours/week), 14-week hybrid summer internship that will occur during one of the following time frames: May 3 - August 13, 2027; May 10 - August 20, 2027.

Open to hiring candidates that reside near our three primary regions: West (Grand Rapids), East (Southfield), South (St. Joseph).

Performs support tasks for department, as directed, and maintains clear and appropriate documentation. Acts as a team member and assists the team in improving processes.
