Job summary

NANA is seeking a part-time Digital Navigator based in the NANA Village Office to support tribal members in obtaining affordable connectivity and devices. You will provide individualized assistance by phone, email, or in person, helping clients set goals and access resources.

You will guide users through steps to obtain services, coach on digital skills, document progress, and assist with outreach to partners and community stakeholders, emphasizing confidentiality and respect.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of customer service or related experience.
• Demonstrated ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Initiate interactions with clients seeking assistance.
• Discuss with each client their home internet access and digital needs.
• Assess access to technology and set goals for navigator services.
• Advise clients on low-cost internet options and assist with applications.
• Provide information on affordable devices and repairs as eligible.
• Coach clients to use home internet to meet priorities; refer to training.
• Track progress, maintain records, and report outcomes as required.
• Plan and manage assistance to meet agreed goals.
• Contribute to marketing and outreach for the navigator program.
• Occasionally present the navigator program to partners and stakeholders.
