Job summary

NANA is seeking a Digital Navigator to assist Tribal members with access to affordable internet, devices, and digital skills. This part-time role averages 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday, based in the NANA Village Office.

Responsibilities include client outreach, needs assessment, helping apply for services, and coaching clients to become confident home internet users. Experience in customer service and ability to learn digital programs are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of customer service, admin support, community outreach, tech support, or related experience.
• Ability to learn digital inclusion resources and programs.
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Initiate interactions with clients seeking assistance.
• Discuss home internet access needs and digital skill levels with clients.
• Assess clients' technology access and set goals for navigator services.
• Advise on low-cost internet options and assist with applications.
• Provide information on low-cost devices and repair options.
• Coach clients to use home internet to meet goals; referrals for training.
• Track progress and maintain client records; report outcomes.
• Plan and manage client assistance to meet goals.
• Contribute to marketing and outreach for the navigator program.
• Occasionally present the program to partners and stakeholders.
