Job summary

NANA Village Office is seeking a Digital Navigator to support tribal members with affordable internet, devices, and digital skills. This part-time role averages 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday, and may involve in-person assistance at the NANA Village Office, phone, email, text, or video chat.

Responsibilities include guiding clients through internet access options, assessing needs, and coordinating with partners.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
6–12 months of customer service, administrative support, community outreach or related experience; volunteer experience OK.
Demonstrated computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, email, internet navigation, and ability to learn new software.
Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills, with ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

Initiate interactions with clients seeking assistance.
Discuss clients' home internet access needs and technology experiences.
Assess clients' access to technology, connectivity needs, and set goals for services.
Advise on free or low-cost home internet options and assist with applications.
Provide information on low-cost computers or devices and repair options.
Coach clients to use home internet to meet priorities; refer to digital skills training.
