Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of customer service or related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, internet navigation, and quickly learning new software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and document client interactions.
• Willingness to learn digital inclusion resources and programs.

Responsibilities

• Initiate interactions with clients seeking assistance.
• Discuss with each client their home internet access needs and technology experience.
• Assess clients' access to technology, connectivity needs, and set goals.
• Advise clients about free or low-cost home internet options and assist with applying.
• Provide information about sources of low-cost devices and maintenance options.
• Coach clients to use their home internet services to meet priorities.
• Track progress and maintain records; report outcomes as required.
• Plan and manage assistance for each client to achieve goals.
• Contribute to marketing and outreach for the program.
• Provide occasional presentations to partners, clients, and stakeholders.
• Other duties as needed.
