Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation is seeking a Digital Navigator to assist tribal members with affordable connectivity, devices, and digital skills from the NANA Village Office in Noatak, AK. The role includes individualized or small group support, and may involve remote communications as needed.

The position is part-time (averaging 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday) with emphasis on helping clients access services, learn digital basics, and achieve their internet-use goals.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of customer service, administrative support, or related experience.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and email.
• Ability to learn new technology and explain it clearly.

Responsibilities

• Initiate interactions with clients seeking assistance.
• Discuss clients’ home internet access and technology needs.
• Assess clients’ access to technology and set goals for navigator services.
• Advise on free or low-cost internet options and assist with applications.
• Provide information on low-cost devices and repair options.
• Coach clients to use internet services to meet priorities.
• Track progress and maintain records; report outcomes.
