Job summary

Mattel Sales Corp. in El Segundo, California is seeking a Senior Manager of Accounting for Digital Games to own end-to-end accounting for the digital games business, including revenue recognition policies and close processes.

The ideal candidate will have deep U.S. GAAP knowledge, hands-on experience in digital gaming or interactive entertainment, and the ability to translate complex guidance into scalable processes across platforms, products, and data flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including technical accounting, revenue recognition, month-end close, consolidations, and public company reporting or SOX control environments.
• Direct hands-on experience in digital gaming or interactive entertainment; experience with high-volume digital revenue models is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting for the digital games business, including month-end close and financial reporting under U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare and review journal entries, deferred revenue schedules, and reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, memos, and close calendars for the digital games unit.
