Mattel Sales Corp. is seeking a Manager to lead the Digital Strategy & Strategic Initiatives within Mattel Digital Studios. Based in El Segundo, CA, the role focuses on developing long-term roadmaps, financial modeling, and driving operational efficiency across MDS units.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience (MBA preferred) with strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and communication skills, plus prior digital gaming experience.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from a top-tier university.
• 7+ years total experience (5+ with an MBA) with 2+ years post-MBA in strategy-related roles such as consulting/investment banking/in-house strategy.
• Track record of impact and execution.
• Proven strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder groups.
• Superior communication skills.
• Prior digital gaming industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute MDS's long-term digital strategy aligned with Mattel's priorities.
• Serve as a liaison to senior leadership, providing insights on digital strategy and investments.
• Conduct competitive intelligence and market trend analysis to inform roadmaps.
• Identify growth areas and expansion opportunities with finance, legal, and product teams.
• Develop multi-year MDS strategy and business cases for investments and partnerships.
