Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has less than four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.
• Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset.
• Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively.
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients by engaging them via in-person, by appointment, and virtual channels.
• Provide counsel on deposit and loan products and services based on client goals and needs.
• Open new consumer and business accounts and process service requests.
• Educate clients on digital products and self-service tools to meet financial needs.
• Collaborate with branch team members to ensure an optimal client experience.
• Proactively educate clients on digital products to support self-service options.
