Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to engage customers across in-person, appointment, and virtual channels, offering trusted financial counsel and guiding them toward digital solutions.

You’ll build lasting client relationships while processing basic transactions and opening new accounts with a focus on accuracy. The role requires a basic banking background, strong communication skills, and a digital-first mindset to educate clients on self-service options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has less than four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.
• Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset.
• Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively.
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
