Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to engage customers across in-person, appointment, and virtual channels. You will assess banking needs, open accounts, and educate clients on digital products and services to deliver an excellent client experience.

You will build trust through proactive outreach, collaborate with branch teams, and process basic transactions while maintaining knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has less than four years of retail banking experience or a mix of experience and training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to engage and communicate effectively with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of bank policies, procedures and support systems.
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with digital products and self-service technologies.
• Ability to identify customer needs with a digital-first mindset.
• Ability to make appropriate recommendations meeting customer needs.
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers across in-person, appointment, and virtual channels.
• Educate clients on deposit and loan products and services and recommend solutions.
• Open new consumer and business accounts and process service requests.
• Collaborate with branch team members to serve clients with accuracy.
