Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to engage customers across in-person, appointment, and virtual channels, advising on deposit and loan products while embracing a digital-first approach.

The role requires educating clients on digital self-service tools, opening accounts, and collaborating with branch teams to ensure an exceptional client experience. NMLS registration is required; background and credit checks apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has less than four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank policies, procedures and support systems.
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.
• Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset.
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships with clients through in-person, by appointment, and virtual channels.
• Identifies solutions for new and existing clients based on needs by engaging with clients.
• Opens new consumer and business accounts and processes service requests.
• Educates clients on digital products and self-service banking tools.
• Works with branch team to deliver an optimal client experience and operating excellence.
