U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to engage customers across in-person, appointment, and virtual channels, providing tailored guidance and promoting deposit and loan products.

The role emphasizes a digital‑first service approach, building strong client relationships, opening accounts, processing requests, and educating clients on self‑service tools to meet financial goals. A strong team partnership with branch colleagues is required, with compliance to NMLS registration and SAFÉ Act

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has less than four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.
• Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset.
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds and fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Opens new consumer and business accounts and processes service requests.
• Proactively educates clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services to assist with meeting their financial needs.
