Job summary

U.S. Bank is looking for a Relationship Banker to meet clients face to face and deliver thoughtful financial counsel tailored to their goals.

You will open accounts, originate and close consumer loans, and educate customers on deposit and loan products, including digital tools, while partnering with branch teammates to serve clients with accuracy and care. This role requires NMLS registration and a background/credit check; employment offers are contingent on successful completion of the

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has less than four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.

Responsibilities

• Builds and fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Identifies solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs.
• Maintains a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services including digital products and self-service technologies.
• Provides a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
• Develops collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients.
• Opens new consumer and business accounts, completes service requests and submits credit applications.
• Proactively educates clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services to assist with meeting their financial needs.
• Leverages available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and serve our clients with operational excellence and accuracy.
