Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in the Service Delivery Center to lead and contribute to end-to-end software delivery across planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. You will stay hands-on with coding while guiding multidisciplinary teams and coordinating across time zones.

You will mentor engineers, partner with product owners and architects, and drive delivery metrics, secure development practices, and CI/CD improvements in a cloud-based environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of technology software development experience with leadership.
• Hands-on coding with Java and Spring Boot; microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Angular or React and guiding full-stack decisions.
• Experience deploying enterprise apps on a major cloud platform.
• Proficiency with source control, build automation, CI/CD, containers, testing, and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software delivery from planning to production support.
• Remain hands-on with coding, reviews, and troubleshooting.
• Design solutions using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Plan Agile delivery, manage backlogs, sprints, and releases.
• Coordinate work across geographically distributed teams.
• Mentor engineers, provide technical coaching and career guidance.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into delivery plans.
• Monitor scope, schedule, quality, risks, and delivery metrics; communicate progress.
• Promote secure development, CI/CD, observability, and incident prevention.
• Support data-processing solutions using Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, or Flink when needed.
