Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in the Service Delivery Center to balance hands-on software engineering with project leadership. You will guide multidisciplinary teams through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support, while remaining close to code decisions and client stakeholders.

The role requires leading delivery across geographic locations, mentoring engineers, and promoting CI/CD, security, and observability practices within an agile framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CS/Engineering/IS or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of technology software development experience.
• Hands-on coding with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with UI frameworks Angular or React.
• Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
• Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience and cross‑functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of software engineering work across planning, design, development, testing, release, and production support.
• Remain hands-on with coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, and architectural decisions.
• Guide solution design using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, Angular or React, databases, and cloud-native patterns.
• Plan and manage Agile delivery including backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, and release readiness.
• Coordinate work across geographically distributed teams, ensuring clear ownership and timely decisions.
• Mentor engineers through technical coaching, design reviews, and career development conversations.
