Qualifications

• Bilingual based on branch needs (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by understanding needs and delivering solutions.
• Educate customers through shoulder-to-shoulder digital demonstrations and identify self-service opportunities.
• Greet customers and actively engage to address immediate needs in the lobby.
• Balance and process customer transactions accurately in line with policy.
• Take ownership of escalated account service issues until resolution; log complaints.
• Transition sales opportunities and introduce customers to appropriate banking partners.
• Support branch operations (cash ordering, vault, ATM, wires).
• Process customer/account maintenance and AML/KYC related activities.
• Adhere to compliance/operational risk controls and bank policies.
• Promote the M&T Bank brand and a customer-centric culture.
