Planet Depos, LLC is seeking a Digital Court Reporter in New York to set up and monitor audio/video equipment for depositions, ensuring high-quality capture. You will swear in deponents and document proceedings, while maintaining a professional demeanor and adapting to various client environments.

The role requires familiarity with A/V tech, the ability to travel to client sites, and a professional presence suitable for interactions with attorneys and clients.

Competenze

• Experience or knowledge of the legal industry preferred.
• Comfort with A/V technologies and digital recording.
• Professional appearance and ability to work with clients.

Mansioni

• Set up audio/video equipment quickly and neatly in diverse environments.
• Position and monitor microphone placement for optimal audio capture.
• Mix multiple audio tracks and monitor for interference on portable interfaces.
• Set white balance and exposure for consistent videography.
• Establish proper video framing matching legal norms.
• Assist clients with audio/video and tech issues on-site and remotely.
• Log key legal events and spellings, exhibit introductions, and objections.
• Swear in deponents and capture testimony under oath.
• Maintain a calm, neutral, professional demeanor during proceedings.
