Planet Depos, LLC in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Digital Court Reporter to capture testimony in depositions using audio and video systems. You will set up and monitor equipment, log events, swear in witnesses, and maintain professional decorum throughout proceedings.

Applicants should have familiarity with legal environments, be comfortable with A/V technologies, and able to work a changing schedule, including after hours. A 2- or 4-year degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of the legal industry preferred.
• Comfort with A/V technologies and digital recording.
• Professional appearance and client-facing experience.
• Reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to adapt to a changing schedule, including after-hours work.

Responsabilités

• Set up audio/video equipment quickly and neatly in new environments.
• Position and monitor microphone placement for clear audio.
• Mix multiple audio tracks and monitor levels on a portable interface.
• Adjust white balance and exposure for proper video.
• Maintain appropriate video framing per norms.
• Assist clients with audio/video issues in person or remotely.
• Log key events, spellings, exhibits, and objections.
• Swear in deponents and record testimony under oath.
• Remain calm, neutral, and professional before/during/after proceedings.
