Job summary

Customers Bank is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support the MD in executing the Digital Assets strategy. You’ll drive product expansion, analytics, and risk controls across digital assets, working with cross-functional teams including Product, Technology, Compliance, and Relationship Managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in banking operations, credit, or risk, with Digital Asset Banking/Lending.
• Subject matter expertise in cryptocurrency, blockchain, and digital asset dynamics.
• Experience creating policies, controls, and risk frameworks for regulated finance.
• Strong collaboration with risk, compliance, and audit functions.
• Experience onboarding high-risk clients in regulated banking.
• Solid financial analysis and credit underwriting; BTC-collateralized lending a plus.
• Excellent executive reporting, presentation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional relationships with RMs, Compliance, Credit, and Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support the Managing Director in executing the Digital Assets strategic plan.
• Monitor policies, controls, and risk framework for Digital Asset Banking and Lending with teams.
• Build and maintain reporting and analytics for performance, portfolio trends, and KPIs.
• Support planning and launch of new digital asset products and capabilities (collateralized lending, ACH).
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Compliance on operational readiness.
• Work with Relationship Managers, Client Success Manager, and MD on day-to-day execution.
• Serve as primary contact for monthly business analysis and fee revenue delivery.
• Act as SME on crypto assets for partners, hires, and clients.
• Serve as client-facing resource for Business Development with RMs.
• Support and help build the credit function for digital-asset lending with underwriting.
• Perform financial analysis to assess profitability and risk under varying conditions.
• Maintain strong client and internal stakeholder relationships to meet needs.
