Job summary

St. Mary's Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare seeks a Dietary Supervisor to oversee the dietary department's daily operations, ensuring high-quality meals and service for patients.

You will supervise staff, plan menus, manage inventory, and collaborate with clinical teams to support patient nutrition goals. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in dietary/culinary roles and a dietary management certificate, with a FT/PT schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a dietary or culinary role.
• Certificate in Dietary Management or related field.
• FT/PT schedule with weekends required.
• Must pass drug and background check, as well as physical examination.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train dietary staff to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Plan, prepare, and serve menus in accordance with patient nutritional needs and preferences.
• Monitor and maintain food inventory, ordering supplies as needed.
• Ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate records of food purchases, inventory, and waste.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
