Job summary

Pinnacle Point Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Dietary Supervisor to lead our Food & Nutrition Services Department and ensure residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals. You will oversee daily kitchen operations, supervise staff, and maintain food safety standards in collaboration with the Dietary Director.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, healthcare food service experience, and the ability to manage programs that meet physician orders and residents’ dietary needs

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in dietary services, food service, healthcare, or long-term care.
• Certified Food Protection Manager or Food Safety Certification required (or ability to obtain according to state regulations).
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and nutrition in healthcare settings preferred.
• CDM credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising the daily operations of the Dietary Department.
• Lead, coach, and support dietary aides, cooks, and kitchen staff.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on resident satisfaction.
• Assist with scheduling, training, onboarding, and performance coaching.
• Ensure department staffing meets operational needs.
• Oversee meal preparation and food production to ensure quality and nutritional standards.
• Ensure meals meet physician orders and dietary needs; substitute with nutritionally equivalent options when needed.
• Monitor portion control and meal service accuracy.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization; support daily operations.
