Job summary

Pacific Wellness Centers in Dallas, TX seeks a Dietary Manager to plan, direct, and supervise operations in the dietary department, ensuring nutritionally appropriate food and compliance with regulations.

You will lead staff, manage budgets, coordinate with the Registered Dietitian and Administrator, participate in the MDS process, and ensure quality food service and resident nutrition care across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Trained as CDM/CFPP or DTR or equivalent training.
• Associate’s or higher degree in food service management or hospitality.
• Food service supervisory experience; long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise functions and personnel within the dietary department.
• Provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents and ensure quality service.
• Lead department operations, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate nutrition care under the direction of a Registered Dietitian and Administrator.
• Train staff on dietary equipment and oversee maintenance.
• Participate in interdisciplinary teams and care plan development.
