Job summary

Outfield Healthcare Partners in Las Vegas, NM is seeking a Full-time Dietary Services Director to plan, direct and supervise the dietary department, ensuring nutritionally appropriate meals and compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

You will lead food service operations, coordinate with the Registered Dietitian and Administrator, manage budgets, menus and staff training to meet resident needs and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Certified dietary professional within 12 months of hire.
• Experience in hospital or long-term care nutrition preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of nutrition service within the dietary department.
• Provide leadership to ensure food quality, safety standards and resident needs are met.
• Coordinate nutrition care under the direction of the Registered Dietitian and Administrator.
• Plan purchases using forecasts, inventory, and equipment records.
• Participate in department budget planning and monitor expenses.
• Communicate with RD, nursing, dietary staff, residents and families about nutrition care.
• Develop and maintain menus and adapt diets to resident preferences.
