Job summary

Pinnacle Pointe Behavioral Health, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Director of Dietary/Food Services to oversee the food service department, ensuring safe and nutritious meals for patients and staff, and providing leadership to dietary staff in a healthcare setting.

The role collaborates with the Dietitian and Director to guarantee safe food preparation, handling, and storage while upholding high standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a food service related field.
• Certification as a Dietary Manager
• Strong cooking and supervisory experience of 3 or more years in food service at a healthcare facility—preferred.
• Must be able to obtain ServSafe Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of food preparation utilizing menus, kitchen equipment and kitchen cleaning methods/products, safety and infection control practices.
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
• Demonstrates proficient time management skills.
• Requires full range of body motion, including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• The Director of Dieatry Services is responsible for managine and coordinating all activites of the Food Service Department whick includes providing nutritional and attractive meals for patients and facility employees.
• Maintainingan organized and sanitary enviorment, monitoring supply inventories and purchasing of food and supplies as required, ensuring proper storage of food supplies and managing an effective food staff.
