The role focuses on managing operations, maintaining sanitation, inventory, and adherence to safety standards, with opportunities for professional growth within UHS.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a food service related field.
• Certification as a Dietary Manager.
• Strong cooking and supervisory experience in healthcare food service.
• Must obtain ServSafe Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of food preparation using menus, equipment, safety and infection control.
• Effective communication with all levels of staff and strong time management.

Responsabilités

• Direct supervision of dietary staff and coordination of all Food Service activities.
• Work with the Dietitian and Director to ensure safe food preparation, handling, and storage.
• Maintain organized, sanitary environment; monitor inventories and purchasing; ensure proper storage.
