Job summary

Pinnacle Dietary Global in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Dining Services to lead daily operations, ensure high-quality meals, and deliver exceptional resident and patient service.

You will oversee menu planning, food preparation, and service delivery; manage cooks and dining staff; ensure food safety compliance and collaborate with the Director to enhance dining programs and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a food service management role, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality, food service management, or related field preferred.
• Proven leadership, team management, and customer service excellence.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of dining services, including menu planning, food preparation, and food service delivery
• Manage a team of cooks, servers, and other dining staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food presentation
• Develop and implement creative and appealing menus that meet the dietary needs of residents and patients
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the Director of Dining Services to develop and implement strategies to improve dining services and increase customer satisfaction
