Job summary

Pinnacle Dietary Global is seeking a Director of Dining Services to oversee daily dining operations, manage a team of dining staff, and develop menus meeting residents’ needs. You will ensure regulatory compliance and collaborate with other departments to deliver high-quality service.

The role emphasizes leadership, strong communication, and the ability to optimize food and labor costs in a healthcare or senior living setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a culinary management role, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, culinary arts, or a related field preferred.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation protocols and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the dining services department, including menu planning, food preparation, and service delivery.
• Manage a team of cooks, servers, and other dining staff to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents and patients.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and minimize conflicts.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities to team members.
• Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
