Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification required or willingness to complete training.
• Food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent) is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee dietary services, staffing, ordering, preparation and service.
• Ensure menus meet nutritional standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Interview residents or families to obtain diet history and preferences.
• Supervise food preparation and ensure timely, palatable meals for residents.
• Maintain records and participate in care planning documentation (MDS/RAP, notes).
