Job summary

Olney Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking a dedicated Dietary Manager to oversee the facility's dietary department, ensuring high-quality nutritional care in compliance with regulations. The role includes staff supervision, budget management, and collaboration with healthcare teams.

The ideal candidate will hold a CDM certification, have healthcare or long-term care dietary management experience, and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to deliver

Qualifications

• CDM certification required.
• Experience in dietary/food service management, preferably healthcare/long-term care.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and dietary regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage the dietary department to meet the nutritional needs of residents.
• Supervise dietary staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Ensure meals are prepared according to residents' dietary requirements, preferences, and care plans.
• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to address residents' nutritional needs and implement dietary changes as needed.
• Develop and monitor the dietary department budget and maintain cost controls.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering and storing food and supplies.
• Conduct routine audits of meal preparation, service, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff.
