Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Dietician, Certified Dietary Manager, Diet Technician or previous Dietary Manager qualification per State Regulatory Agency.
• Organized and detailed in work performance.
• Good communication skills with patience and empathy.
• Genuine caring for elderly and disabled residents in a nursing facility.
• Adherence to Residents' Rights and Facility Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan dietary services including staffing, budgeting, and menu planning.
• Purchase food and supplies within budget and maintain adequate stock.
• Provide guidance on diet planning, menu formulation, and therapeutic diets.
• Ensure menus meet nutritional standards and regulations.
• Supervise food preparation and staffing to deliver safe, timely meals.
