Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services in Cuero, TX is seeking a PRN Dietary Aide to support the dining program at Cuero Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. You will follow the direction of the CDM to prepare and serve meals and assist with tray setup.

Requirements include a Texas Food Handler Certificate and a high school diploma or equivalent; prior kitchen experience is preferred. This flexible PRN role offers hands-on resident care support and teamwork with nursing staff.

Job Shift: 2pm-10pm Shift

Primary Responsibilities

The Dietary Aide follows the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines to ensure that food is properly prepared, served to residents, and after meals are completed cleanup of the dining hall and dishes.

Essential Functions

Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations
Preparing and serving beverages
Setting up and passing trays for meal service
Stocking snack cart
Bussing of tables and trays
Cleaning the kitchen work area
Dishwashing
Follow proper handwashing guidelines
Additional special projects or tasks can be assigned at times by the CDM or the Executive Director
