Job summary

Cuero Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal service for residents in Cuero, TX. The role involves assisting with food preparation, serving meals, setting up trays, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining and kitchen areas.

Job Shift: 2pm-10pm Shift

Primary Responsibilities

The Dietary Aide follows the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines to ensure that food is properly prepared, served to residents, and after meals are completed cleanup of the dining hall and dishes.

Essential Functions

Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations
Preparing and serving beverages
Setting up and passing trays for meal service
Stocking snack cart
Bussing of tables and trays
Cleaning the kitchen work area
Dishwashing
Follow proper handwashing guidelines
Additional special projects or tasks can be assigned at times by the CDM or the Executive Director

QualificationsEducational/Training Requirements

Licensing Requirements

Must have Texas Food Handler Certificate

Experience Requirements
