Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services’ Pearsall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support meals for residents. You will follow the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager, assist with food prep, serve beverages, and help with tray assembly and cleanup.

The role requires a Texas Food Handler Certificate, preferred high school diploma or equivalent, and prior kitchen experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Texas Food Handler Certificate required.
Experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations.
Preparing and serving beverages.
Setting up and passing trays for meal service.
Stocking snack cart.
Bussing of tables and trays.
Cleaning the kitchen work area.
Dishwashing.
Follow proper handwashing guidelines.
Additional special projects or tasks can be assigned at times by the CDM or the Executive Director

The Dietary Aide follows the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines to ensure that food is properly prepared, served to residents, and after meals are completed cleanup of the dining hall and dishes.

Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations
Preparing and serving beverages
Setting up and passing trays for meal service
Stocking snack cart
Bussing of tables and trays
Cleaning the kitchen work area
Dishwashing
Follow proper handwashing guidelines

Educational/Training Requirements

Licensing Requirements
