Job summary

PACS is seeking a Dietary Aide General Purpose to support food service operations in the facility. Responsible for learning routines, setting up meal trays, and assisting with serving meals under the Cook and Dietary supervisor.

Must maintain sanitary conditions and help with dishwashing and cleaning tasks. The role emphasizes teamwork across departments, adherence to safety standards, and participation in ongoing training for dietary staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Set up and serve meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Check and record dishwasher water temperature and chlorine levels.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks and sweep/mop kitchen areas.
• Carry out trash and groceries safely and assist cook/dietary supervisor.
