Job summary

PACS is seeking a Dietary Aide General Purpose to support food service operations in our healthcare facility. The role involves setting up meal trays, assisting with meal service, and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen environment.

You will follow recipes and procedures, learn quickly, and help with dishwashing and waste reduction. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and must obtain a food handlers' certificate.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn food service routines and follow procedures.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and technical procedures.
• Must obtain and maintain food handlers' certificate.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen surfaces and floors.
• Monitor dishwashing machine temperatures and chlorine levels.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Participate in orientation and training of dietary staff.
• Work cooperatively with staff across departments.
