PACS is seeking a Dietary Aide General Purpose to assist with daily food service operations in a healthcare setting. You will learn the standard food service routines, set up meal trays, and help with cleaning and sanitation of the kitchen under supervision.

The role requires ability to read procedures, follow recipes, and cooperate with staff across departments. A food handlers’ certificate is required. Physical tasks include lifting and standing for long periods in a low-noise environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.

Responsabilités

• Learn food service routines and adapt quickly.
• Set up meal trays for service.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Assist with serving meals.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwasher.
• Observe dishwasher cycles to ensure proper temps.
• Operate dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop kitchen.
• Carry out trash and garbage.
• Store groceries safely and orderly.
• Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen facilities.
• Participate in orientation and training of dietary staff.
• Cooperate with other departments.
